'Gossip Girl' cast says goodbye to Michelle Trachtenberg, who played Georgina Sparks

Georgina Sparks , one of the biggest villains in the Manhattan elite universe of the hit series ' Gossip Girl ', was just one of the most memorable characters of Michelle Trachtenberg , the actress who passed away on February 26.

The artist, according to police sources, died at the age of 39 in a 51-story luxury apartment complex on Central Park South in Manhattan.

"Michelle was one of a kind. I remember her coming on set for the first time and just owning it. She was a force of nature and so unapologetically funny and magnetic. Looking back on those years with a big smile. Just a terrible loss . I love you," he wrote.

Other friends from the set also left their heartfelt messages after the actress's death. In fact, colleagues from the first productions she worked on, when she was a child, paid tribute to her.

Kenan Thompson , who shared a set with the actress when she was on Nickelodeon, wrote: "Our first movie star Nick has left us. She was my friend and now she is at rest."

She added: "My heart goes out to her family, who are good people, and are suffering the greatest loss anyone could endure. I hope everyone can give them space to heal at this difficult time. Good luck, Michelle. You are missed."
