A production that deserves to go on tour

The production of La Veronal, inspired by Mercè Rodoreda's La mort i la primavera, deserves to extend beyond the twelve performances scheduled at the Teatre Nacional de Catalunya. Premiered this summer at the Malibran Theater in Venice, the work was co-produced by the Centro Danza Matadero in Madrid, a city where it will be performing in the future. It has not yet been decided which other cities it will visit. Taking the production to other countries is an intriguing way to promote Rodoreda's legacy.
