People magazine shared the statement announcing his death. The Alpha Kappa Psi fraternity at Austin Peay State University, where he graduated in 2020, shared the news about the influencer.

"It is with great sadness that we inform you that our beloved brother, Malik Taylor, has passed away," the fraternity read. "To know him was to know he was a light to all, always bringing laughter, joy, and a warm smile that lit up every room he entered," the fraternity added.
What is known about the accident and the cause of death? According to 'TMZ', the incident occurred on Wednesday, August 20, 2025. The accident also took place in Concord, North Carolina.
