A video has been circulating on social media of an Argentine couple who dared to try sushi for the first time , to understand why this Japanese preparation is so popular in some countries.
In the first seconds of the clip, Nicolás Romero and his girlfriend, Natalia, appear on camera holding chopsticks. However, the man shows a fork and comments, "I brought this just in case."

As a first step, the woman takes one of the rolls and then brings it up to her nose so she can smell it before putting it in her mouth. Seeing this, her partner asks her not to make him hesitate.
"If you do it like this, I'll gag later," the user writes in the post, while Natalia mocks the situation. Moments later, the Argentinian decides to take the first bite to begin tasting.
For a moment, the woman remains silent, trying to determine whether she finds the sushi palatable or not. Nicholas, meanwhile, watches her, waiting for her to tell him if it tastes bad so he won't try it.
"I don't like it," Natalia says after chewing her food. Despite this, her boyfriend takes the chopsticks to test the texture of the rolls, but since he can't handle utensils, he tries them with a fork.

Once the reaction was posted on social media, thousands of people wittily commented, stating that this Japanese dish is delicious, but that it doesn't always captivate at first taste.
Other internet users emphasized that they, too, prefer to eat things other than sushi, as they find it "too expensive" and can't afford to spend money on something that won't taste good.
