ASICS opens its new store at the Andino Shopping Center in Bogotá.

The Japanese athletic footwear brand, founded in 1949, opened a new store in Bogotá, in the Andino Shopping Center, consolidating the brand as a benchmark in performance and style, with a completely immersive shopping experience.

The philosophy of a healthy mind in a healthy body is expanding every day in Colombia. The community of people who view physical activity not only as a lifestyle but also for the alternatives available for running is growing every day.

On June 5, 2025, the company opened its fifth store. This new space not only represents a physical expansion in the country, but also the beginning of a new era for Asics in Colombia: closer, more connected, and more committed to the overall well-being of its consumers.

This new space features a Japanese-influenced 4.0 concept, incorporating digital tools such as interactive screens, footfall analysis, and personalized recommendation systems. All this in an environment curated to offer high-performance products and offerings from the "Sportyle" universe, where style meets movement.

“This opening marks a strategic milestone for Asics in Colombia. We want Andino to be our flagship store, a space where consumers find a brand that supports them not only during training, but in every moment of their active lives. We connect with new audiences who value balance between body and mind, innovation, and functional design ,” said Johanna Zambrano, general manager of Asics Colombia.

This is the fifth store in Colombia and the third in Bogotá. It's worth remembering that they're also located in Gran Estación, Unicentro, and now in Andino, which is launching a new collection of classic shoes.

“What interests us is creating the best product with the best benefits that we offer to our athletes, because for us, everyone is an athlete, whether they want to start running or even elite athletes who are already professional athletes. Everyone is in this world, but we also want to make a difference as a company ,” said Johanna Zambrano.

At the opening were Asics Elite Team athletes Jeisson Suárez, Leidy Romero, Angie Nocua, and David Gómez, who spoke about how the company has supported them since their inception.

Johanna Zambrano stated that she plans to open four stores each year in major Colombian cities such as Bogotá, Medellín, Cali, and Barranquilla.
