The Plaza Central Shopping Center became the first venue in Colombia to host the Balloon Experience, an international attraction present in more than 30 cities in Brazil.
From June 14th to August 7th, Bogota residents can enjoy this 150 m² ball pit, featuring more than 140,000 balls and balloons , set to intelligent LED lights and sensory music.

According to Pilar Puente, head of marketing at Plaza Central, Balloon Experience is not just a giant ball pit, but a proposal that includes a sensory platform with lights, music, and interactive elements , designed to stimulate the senses and encourage free play.
It stands out for its inclusive nature, allowing access to people with disabilities, ensuring that all attendees can enjoy the experience comfortably and safely.

The event is designed for people ages two and up, and is expected to receive between 35,000 and 50,000 visitors during its first month in the country.
To access the attraction, visitors must register for Plaza Central's Soy Top Member loyalty program, with a minimum purchase of $30,000 at any of the mall's stores. This allows entry for one adult and their family group, with no limit on the number of people.
According to Puente, Balloon Experience has already shown impressive results in its first weekend of operation.
More than 2,500 people visited the attraction during the Father's Day celebration. In addition to being a place of entertainment, it has generated a strong impact on social media due to its Instagrammable aesthetic.

Emiliano Moscoso, creator of the experience, highlighted the success of the Balloon Experience in Brazil, with more than three million visitors.
" Colombia is a benchmark in Latin America, and we couldn't help but bring this experience here. We also plan to extend it to other parts of the country," Moscoso says.
"It's an opportunity to enjoy and become a child in this wonderful space that we offer exclusively for our clients," Puente commented.

Regarding the challenges they faced in bringing this experience to the mall, Puente noted that, as with any project, there were difficulties.
" The biggest challenge was finding the right space, in addition to the issues with imports, because coming from Brazil, there was some fear that the materials wouldn't arrive on time, right in time for the holiday season. But we managed to get it done on time, with a safe and innovative experience ," he explained in an interview with EL TIEMPO.
Regarding the initial public reactions, Puente reported that, after the premiere on June 14, more than 2,500 people attended over the weekend, coinciding with Father's Day.
"Although the place is perfect for taking photos and recording videos, the most beautiful thing was seeing how happy people left. Children naturally have fun, but when adults enter, they feel like children too, which generates contagious happiness ," she concluded.
