Book Fair 2025: Today's Recommended Books, May 11
The Buenos Aires Book Fair is coming to an end, and its final hours offer a range of unmissable activities for all ages and tastes. At 4 p.m. in the Clarín/Ñ cultural space, there will be an interview with writer Claudia Piñeiro about her new novel , *La muerte ajena* , with Alejandra Rodríguez Ballester. At 5 p.m., Inés Garland will discuss her book *Diario de una mudanza * with editor Patricia Somoza; and at 6 p.m., a panel featuring Alejandra Laera (Para qué sirve leer novelas), Tomás Downey (López López), and Federico Lorenz (Para un soldado desconocido, La balada de Jimmy Cross) will discuss the intersections between literature and war .

At 1:00 p.m., in the Explora Zone of the Yellow Pavilion, the Department of Mathematics at Exactas-UBA is organizing "Think, Play, and Be Surprised with Mathematics," a demonstration station that combines experiments and strategy games to explore mathematical concepts in a fun way.
At 3:00 PM, Mariela de la Sota will pay tribute to María Elena Walsh with "A contar con María Elena," a storytelling and song performance for children ages 2 to 12, in the Storytelling Room of the Children's Area of the Yellow Pavilion. And at 3:30 PM, Ediciones Colihue will present a new book by Norberto Galasso and Mara Espasande about Carlos Pellegrin , with both authors in attendance, in the Alfonsina Storni Room of the White Pavilion.
At 4:00 p.m., writer Tamara Tenenbaum, winner of the 2025 Paidós Prize, will introduce her essay "A Million Rooms of One's Own" in the Julio Cortázar Room of the Yellow Pavilion.

Half an hour later, the closing debate entitled "Culture in the Land of Freedom" will take place, bringing together Tomás Abraham, Marcelo Birmajer, Claudia Piñeiro and Dolores Reyes , moderated by Hinde Pomeraniec , in the Victoria Ocampo Room of the White Pavilion.
At 5:30 p.m., writer Jorge Fernández Díaz presents his award-winning book, *The Martial Secret*, in the José Hernández Room of the Red Pavilion.
Later, at 7:00 p.m., writer Gioconda Belli shares her new work in the Julio Cortázar Room of the Yellow Pavilion, while Myriam Bregman , along with Alejandro Bercovich and Guillermo Martínez , launches her book Zurda in the José Hernández Room of the Red Pavilion.

Finally, at 8:00 PM, Diana Bellessi will star in "An Applause for Bellesi," a tour of celebratory texts dedicated to her work, in the Pride and Prejudice Room of the Ocre Pavilion. This tribute, presented by Ferny Kosiak and organized by Entre Ríos publishing houses, promises to close the day on a poetic and moving note.
