Daniel Craig and Glenn Close in Netflix's new detective film: When is 'Knives Out 3' released?

Daniel Craig and Glenn Close in Netflix's new detective film: When is 'Knives Out 3' released?

The most celebrated detective in recent cinema returns with a mystery that oscillates between religion, superstition, and murder. Netflix has released the first trailer for Knives Out: Back in Dead , the third installment in the saga conceived by Rian Johnson, in which Daniel Craig reprises the role of Benoit Blanc, facing an impossible crime inside a church .

The gothic atmosphere and aesthetic of an Agatha Christie novel dominate the trailer, which presents a locked-room case: a bloodied victim, a group of parishioners with suspicious faces, and a religious fanatic determined to see a miracle in the tragedy. Johnson once again places Blanc on a chessboard filled with false clues , unspeakable secrets, and unexpected twists.

The film debuted at the Toronto International Film Festival, where it received unanimous praise. Critic Chase Hutchinson of The Wrap called it "a glorious, funny, gothic horror film that's the best film yet." Similarly, IndieWire said, " It's a darker, Poe-inspired tale for the age of misinformation... But don't worry: Benoit Blanc, played by Daniel Craig, is still in top form."

True to the spirit of the saga, Johnson has brought together an all-star cast. Joining Craig are Josh O'Connor, Glenn Close, Josh Brolin, Mila Kunis, Jeremy Renner, Kerry Washington, Andrew Scott, Cailee Spaeny, Daryl McCormack, and Thomas Haden Church , all immersed in the classic game of "who's to blame."

Knives Out: From Dead to Death will be released in theaters on November 28 and will arrive on Netflix on December 12 , cementing Benoit Blanc as one of the great detectives of contemporary cinema.
