Robe Grill reveals date with Olivia Rodrigo and assures that something is in the works

Robe Grill, an influencer and content creator from Hermosillo, Sonora, has caused a stir on social media after sharing details about an unexpected date with American singer Olivia Rodrigo.

During an interview on the YouTube channel Pinky Promise, Robe recounted how they met during a recording, after which members of the singer's team noticed a special connection. "A few days later, Olivia's manager texted someone on the team asking for my number," he recounted.

Unaware of the message, the influencer checked his social media without success until he remembered to check his iMessage. There, he found a message from Olivia thanking him for the collaboration. From that moment on, they began talking, albeit in a casual tone. “We planned the second recording because the video turned out really well, so I decided that in the second recording, I would invite her to lunch, but as friends,” he explained.

The date took place in Los Angeles. They recorded again at the singer's house and then went out to eat. Robe shared a curious anecdote: While walking towards the restaurant, they came across a magazine with a picture of Olivia, who asked him to take a picture with her.

However, the influencer confessed that the meal didn't turn out as expected. He chose a club sandwich "that was a tower," which made it difficult for him to have a proper conversation with the singer. "I messed up," he admitted with a laugh. After the meal, he took Olivia to a recording.

Although there haven't been any further encounters, Robe Grill assured that they remain in contact. "Two weeks later, she won an award, and I congratulated her […] There's something in the works," she commented, leaving the door open to a possible connection beyond the professional.

The confession has generated a wave of reactions on social networks, where thousands of followers are intrigued by the unexpected friendship and possible romance between the Mexican influencer and the international pop star.
