Roca Rey donates more than €30,000 in bullfighting equipment to the Bullfighting Schools of Andalusia.

Andrés Roca Rey, sponsor of the Andalusian Bullfighting Culture Promotion Project 2024, has reaffirmed his commitment to youth with a significant gesture: the donation of more than 30,000 euros to the Andalusian Bullfighting Schools. With this initiative, he demonstrates that his closeness to youth extends far beyond the stands. The Lima-born bullfighter aims to directly contribute to the future of bullfighting by supporting young novilleros currently training in Andalusian schools—AAET Pedro Romero—who will tomorrow be responsible for bringing new bullfighters and new audiences to the bullrings.

The bullfighter himself, along with Eduardo Ordóñez, president of the Andalusian Association of Bullfighting Schools, Pedro Romero, emphasized that "the Schools not only train bullfighters, they also transmit fundamental values to society and forge future generations of bullfighting professionals."

This gesture is part of the line of action Roca Rey has been developing this season, marked by "his commitment to renewing and expanding the roster to benefit young bullfighters who are just beginning to make their way up the ladder." "I don't forget those who are still starting out. With this contribution, I hope to contribute to the future of bullfighting and the dream of so many young people who, like me, one day want to reach the top," the bullfighter expressed.

"The donation will be distributed among the Bullfighting Schools of Andalusia, strengthening their teaching, promotion, and support programs for new talent, with the aim of continuing to ensure the continuity and deep roots of bullfighting culture among new generations," Roca Rey asserted. He also emphatically affirmed "my support for the young people training in Andalusian schools, as well as for those who are already beginning to establish themselves in the bullring, fostering an essential generational renewal for bullfighting."

Let's remember that this isn't the first time the bullfighter has shown his sensitivity toward young people. In 2023, he already pledged to donate capes and muletas to the students of the Valencia Bullfighting School, a gesture that symbolized his closeness to those taking their first steps in the profession.
