San Sebastian Festival 2025 winners list: list of winners and Golden Shell

'Sundays', by Alauda Ruiz de Azúa, wins the grand prize, and 'Historias del buen valle', by José Luis Guerín, wins the Special Jury Prize.

Alauda Ruiz de Azúa's Los domingos (Sundays) won the Golden Shell at the 73rd San Sebastián Film Festival. Jose Ramon Soroiz received the Silver Shell for Best Leading Performance for "Maspalomas." The full list of winners is as follows:

Golden Shell: Sundays, by Alauda Ruiz de Azúa.

Special Jury Prize: Stories from the Good Valley, by José Luis Guerin.

Silver Shell for Best Director: Joachim Lafosse, for Six Days of Spring.

Silver Shell for Best Leading Performance: jointly awarded to Jose Ramon Soroiz for Maspalomas and Zhao Xiaohong for Jianyu laide mama.

Silver Shell for Best Supporting Performance: Camila Plaate, for Belén.

Best Screenplay: Joachim Lafosse, Chloé Duponchelle and Paul Ismaël, for Six Days of Spring.

Best photography: Pau Esteve Birba, for Los Tigres.

New Directors: Vaegtloes, by Emilie Thalund.

Latin Horizons: A Poet, by Simón Mesa Soto.

Zabaltegi – Tabakalera: The Ice Tower, by Lucile Hadzihalilovic.

Audience Award: Hind's Voice, by Kaouther Ben Hania.

Youth Prize: The Mysterious Gaze of Flamenco, by Diego Céspedes.

Fipresci Prize: Sundays, by Alauda Ruiz de Azúa.
