See the Sweet Way Kylie Jenner Helped Timothée Chalamet Get Ready for Their Red Carpet Debut

Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet made their red carpet debut on May 7, attending the 70th David di Donatello Awards in Rome. The couple has made a number of public appearances, but this was their first time posing together so officially, and they appeared to be pretty excited in the lead up to the moment.

Designer Haider Ackermann shared a photo on Instagram on Saturday in which he is FaceTiming with the couple as they got ready for the night out. In the screenshot, Jenner appears to be running a lint roller across Chalamet’s suit, a black velvet ensemble by Tom Ford. He had a white flower in his lapel and is smiling broadly. Ackermann captioned the post, “TEAMWORK – Miss K, you’re hired!! I Rome May 7th. BROTHER elegantly in TOM FORD receiving the 70th David Di Donatello Award. PROUD AS ALWAYS.”

The influencer was matching her boyfriend in a black Schiaparelli gown with spaghetti straps and a plunging neckline, with a skirt that hugged her figure. She had her hair up in a sleek bun and wore statement earrings in gold with a pearl adornment.

That night, Chalamet won the award for the David Award for Cinematic Excellence.

On April 24, a source told Entertainment Tonight that the couple has strong feelings for one another and see things going long term.

“[They’re] happy with where things are and focused on spending time together,” the insider said. “They don’t put pressure on their relationship, but everything is going really well, and they could see themselves taking things to the next level someday.”

The source added, “Timothée’s family is supportive of him and his relationship with Kylie. They appreciate how loving and caring Kylie is. They want him to succeed and be happy in every way, including with the partner he chooses to be with.”⁠

Chalamet is “close” to Jenner’s kids, and “he feels lucky to be able to share a bond with them and is also respectful of her co-parenting relationship with Travis.” ⁠

Travis Scott is Jenner’s former partner, with whom she shares her two children, Stormi and Aire.
