An unusual scene between two of South America's top predators was recorded in the Pantanal and went viral on social media.
The video, recorded on May 24, 2025, and recently released by the 'Pantanal Blog' profile, shows the exact moment when an anaconda falls from a tree almost at the feet of a jaguar , which immediately reacts with an attack.

In the footage, the jaguar can be seen sniffing the ground when, suddenly, the anaconda—which was coiled between the branches of a tree—loses its balance and falls right in front of the feline.
