Woman was saved from being run over by a car without brakes, the images are shocking

Last Saturday, February 22, a woman escaped being run over by a speeding car on one of the streets of the municipality of Braço do Norte, located in the state of Santa Catarina (Brazil).

The shocking incident was recorded from several angles by the security cameras of one of the establishments in the area where the victim was walking in the morning.

As seen in the images, a young woman decides to leave the pedestrian sidewalk to move along the edge of the vehicle road , without realizing that another car was driving in the same direction.

Moments later, the video shows the passerby passing by a white Honda HR-V, which was parked at one end of the street, when suddenly a Chevrolet Montana car collides with the rear of the truck.

After the crash, the stationary vehicle was pushed a few meters forward , while the other lost control, spun several times in the air and ended up at the opposite end.

Despite the seriousness of the events, the Brazilian woman emerged completely unharmed from the accident and was extremely shocked by her luck , so, without thinking twice, she quickly climbed back up onto the sidewalk to see more clearly what had just happened.

Meanwhile, another young woman who was walking in the opposite direction on the pedestrian crossing was very scared when she saw how the white van almost ran her over after being suddenly pushed forward.

According to information provided by the authorities to local media, the driver did not show signs of intoxication nor did he have any condition that would prevent him from controlling the vehicle normally.

On the contrary, they mentioned that the man who caused the crash was dressed in a company uniform and was traveling at full speed along the road, because he had been urgently summoned from work.

The video of the incident was shared on several digital platforms, where some users have reacted and commented on the publication, as they consider that the woman committed an act of recklessness on the road, as did the owner of the Chevrolet Montana.
