All the benefits of nature will be on display in the gardens of the International Perfume Museum (MIP) on Saturday, May 24. Activities, workshops, conferences, and guided tours will punctuate the day continuously, as part of the Grasse Nature Festival.
A fun and educational day to discover how to enjoy the treasures of nature: taste edible flowers, learn to create your own cosmetics and your local and natural pharmacy (registration required), learn the secrets of plants and their impact on our daily lives, discover rocks that have been useful since prehistory or the music of plants, understand the many services provided by aquatic environments, bats or biodiversity in the city...
Edible flowers and local pharmacyVisitors will also be able to immerse themselves in captivating scientific experiences: observing the sun through a solarscope, taking a biomimicry training course to explore how plants inspire technological innovations (registration required), discovering the secrets of plant colors, and more. Numerous fun workshops and activities will provide a better understanding of pollination, water resource management, and urban biodiversity, with a focus on swallows, swifts, and the emblematic species of the Siagne region. Recognized as a Territory committed to nature, the town of Mouans-Sartoux will present its many actions in favor of biodiversity. Bags of honey-producing seeds will be distributed so that everyone can take concrete action for the environment.
