It's a task that isn't always measured. But since Tuesday, the Niel district, home to the offices of the Meuse Association for the Protection of the Environment (ADAPEI) and the Inglorious Festival, has transformed into a veritable hive of activity. The timer was set this Friday before the inauguration.

As the main stage is set up, the small one is being finalized. "It's a year of work," confides Diane Gagliardi, head of the education department. Beside her, Mélodie Boulat is stamping her feet. The singer Taïro is expected for breakfast.

The receptionist, the resident patient after him, makes the rounds of the dedicated lodge in the adult residence. But at 9:58 a.m., the news arrives: "He won't be here for a while, the tour bus has broken down." So much for breakfast and the visit to Verdun. But there's still plenty to do...
