Inercy One, the flying whirlwind for everyone

The simplest concepts are often the best: the young French brand offers complicated mechanical watches at an affordable price.
Skip the ad Skip the adWhat lover of fine watches isn't passionate about watch complications? Creations as beautiful as they are complex, but also expensive, in general. This is why Alexis Szewezuk and Thibault Zavaroni imagined Inercy, whose name logically finds its origin in the inertia of the balance wheel whose oscillation regulates the movement. After several years of work and prototyping, the Inercy One finally saw the light of day in early 2024, with a signature compass-style dial and an elegant flying tourbillon at six o'clock. All this for just 1,290 euros.
How is this possible? Frankly, by sourcing the movements from the Asian manufacturer PTS, calibers displaying a 40-hour power reserve and an accuracy of +/- 10 seconds per day. As for the hands, they come from La Pratique, the last specialized French watchmaker still in operation. These watches are ultimately assembled and adjusted in Paris, within the brand's workshops.
Following the success of its presence at the Parisian We Love Watches trade show, and two sold-out gray models, Inercy continues its journey with three new versions of its One with a blue, ruby, or green sunray dial. These models are priced at €1,390 and still feature a caliber 34 with a flying tourbillon.
Inercy is also offering a 42mm skeletonized steel version (€1,490) for pre-order, with a 70% tinted smoked plexiglass dial allowing a deep look into the inner workings. A special edition limited to 100 numbered pieces is available on the brand's website, for delivery next September. https://www.inercy.fr/
