Lyon Metropolis. Centenary of the Tase factory and housing projects: an event not to be missed

Between 1924 and 1925, a gigantic industrial site emerged from the barren lands south of the Jonage Canal, straddling Vaulx-en-Velin and Villeurbanne, around a main artery (today's Rue Alfred-de-Musset). Owned by the Gillet family, this chemical factory manufactured artificial textiles imitating silk at low cost.
