Launched in 2000 by a group of young people from Metz-Borny and Woippy, eager to prove that the youth of the neighborhoods have talent, the Collectif Art association celebrates its quarter-century this year. It has launched several Metz hip-hop dancers who are now making waves in the capital—and beyond.

Myriam is 25 and Isaac is 19. Hip-hop dancers and choreographers, they have two things in common: they enjoy a great reputation in Paris and were trained in Metz. She danced for Aya Nakamura, he choreographed for the rapper Luidji . As their only baggage, they set out to conquer the capital with solid training, acquired through hard work and sweat within the Collectif Art. "Without Collectif Art, I would be nothing. I am extremely grateful to them," Myriam sums up.
