Moselle-Sud. Sarrebourg: Skipper Louis Burton stops off to talk with students

He didn't come with his monohull to the Sarrebourg Valley Bureau, but skipper Louis Burton made elementary school children from Voyer and Lorquin dream on Monday, June 2. The students turned into real interviewers; they had followed the sailor's epic adventures during the last two editions of the Vendée Globe.

"It's my dream," enthuses Eden Joas-Ensminger, a CE1 student. This Monday, June 2, in front of the Bureau Vallée in Sarrebourg, he waits, along with around fifty schoolchildren from the Voyer and Lorquin schools , to meet Louis Burton, the French skipper who has, among other things, participated in the Vendée Globe four times.

After a short film showing some key moments from his career, Louis Burton explained how a skipper could sail around the world, how he saw flying fish, and so on. He was then met with a barrage of questions.
