Muttersholtz. At L'Avide Jardin, from August 28 to 31, four days of shows, concerts and round tables to question the living

Muttersholtz. At L'Avide Jardin, from August 28 to 31, four days of shows, concerts and round tables to question the living

In Muttersholtz, from August 28 to 31, the LaCuisine association and the Bardaf company invite the public to question their relationship with living things and their relationship with water. For the 14th edition of L'Avide Jardin, musicians, puppeteers, speakers, and storytellers offer a joyful and family-friendly sharing of emotions and reflections on the meaning of life.

The 14th edition of the Avide Jardin de Muttersholtz will celebrate the end of summer and the holidays starting August 28th with, this year, four days of exchanges, performances, nature and emotions. "The LaCuisine association, which was born in Muttersholtz, has since its creation asserted its civic and ecological commitment through performances, artistic creation, and artist residencies," recalls Odile Kerckaert, production manager of the association.

"For L'Avide Jardin 2025, we're proposing an entry point focused on environmental protection. It's a bubble of pleasure and exchange that isn't meant to be moralistic. We're not here to find solutions, but to encourage reflection and discussion. Culture allows us to question ourselves."

Tours, shows, concerts, exhibitions, indoor and outdoor performances, as well as times for discussion and conferences will enliven the four days of the festival to transform the last weekend of the holidays into a paradise of commitment to a more human and natural future.

The festival will begin on Thursday, August 28 at 7 p.m. with a round table entitled “Slowing down water: excavators or incisors?”, which will offer discussions on nature, beavers and their know-how (Synergies room, ages 10 and up).

A theme that we will find again, still Thursday evening but at 9:15 p.m. , with 1972 , a show by the company Facteurs Communs, which questions the Meadows report, which announced the planned collapse of the global economic system (Salle des Synergies, from 14 years old).

Things will get more specific in the heart of the village. The covered market hall will host DJ Ben Backshish at 6 p.m. and then at 10:30 p.m. for a tropical and cosmopolitan disco atmosphere.

At 6:30 p.m. , in a mysterious and natural place, the Hydro Labo collective offers the first show visit of the weekend, Cure Castor, at the bedside of the river and its inhabitants (all audiences, from 6 years old).

At 7 p.m. , the L'onde company will present the show Entre les deux, il y a Gênes , which recalls the events in Genoa and the police violence (Salle des Synergies, from 14 years old).

Two concerts are also on the program: the group Léna Rosad et les gauchers (pop-rock) will perform at 7:45 p.m. before L'étape entre le marchepied et le quai, not a simple name for a cleverly rock-ska-punk group, at 9:30 p.m. (concerts under the hall, all audiences).

The festivities will begin at 10 a.m. with a “Climate Breakfast Workshop” hosted by the company Facteurs communs.

At 3 p.m. , the story Rivers , by the Théâtre de l'imprévu, will tell the wonderful stories of the Aroffe river (Synergies garden, from 8 years old),

Geneviève Wendelski, at 4 p.m., 5:15 p.m. and 6:45 p.m., will present her show Futur simple , in three independent acts. It is a tale constructed at the level of a child to transform the territory, for the better, within ten years (under the market hall, all audiences).

The day will also see the return of the Cure Castor tour-show at a secret location, at 4:30 p.m. then 6:30 p.m.

At 5 p.m. , Amélie Armao invites you to discover the invisible with the story Juste une trace (synergy room, from 8 years old).

The show Entre les deux, il y a Gènes will be replayed at 7 p.m. (Synergies Hall, ages 14 and up).

The duet of demoralizing songs for the whole family with Lucéluci at 8 p.m. (under the hall), will allow you to wait for the giant puppet show, at 9:25 p.m., entitled L'appel sauvage , after Jack London, by the Projet D company, in the Synergies garden, before ending the evening, at 10:25 p.m. , with the cheesy and endearing DJ Vladimir Spoutnik, (under the hall).

The day will begin at 11 a.m. with the Cure Castor tour-show at a secret location.

Geneviève Wendelski's tale Futur simple will be presented again in three parts at 1:30 p.m., 3 p.m. and 4:15 p.m. (under the market hall).

Amélie Armao also returns at 2:30 p.m. with Le secret , a children's story in the forest (from 6 years old, Salle des Synergies).

At 4 p.m. , The Fortress Blizzard , by Julian Delgrange or the extraordinary adventures of the Swedish princess Alfid, will take the public to the seas of the world (from 10 years old, Synergies room).

At 5:15 p.m. , the Projet D company, with puppets, a dam, Brazil, a plumber and a heron, will mark the end of the 14th edition of L'Avide Jardin (from 10 years old, Jardin des Synergies).

Additionally, for four days, storyteller Bonnie Parleuse will engage and guide the public. The independent bookstore Pleine Page will host a book stand related to the program.

On Saturday and Sunday, a Kids' Bar with games just for children, local and organic food and even massages will also be available on site.
