Once upon a time, there was a little boy named Letto, sitting in an attic, leafing through an old book. Bored in his grandparents' stable, the young man dreamed of a wonderful life like that of a great horseman and adventure-seeker. When his grandfather surprised the boy in his hiding place, he revealed a secret: "You are with my old friend the Codex, the only copy of a very special edition. The story of this book is unusual because it doesn't exist. It's up to you to invent it!"

The gold letters on the cover read "Via Imperium," the road to empire. The first show of the season will begin with the sound of trumpets at the La Cantera stables in Niderviller. Join us on June 14 at 8:30 p.m. (dinner show option) and on June 15 at 4 p.m. for this unique show created by the team.

"It's a saga that will last the entire season with four shows from June to September. But you can see them independently of each other and understand the story," explains Loïc Teutsch, owner of La Cantera. "In the first show, the child will be introduced to acrobatics. The show lasts an hour and a half with about ten horsemen , gladiatorial combats, Roman chariot races, and fire acts. We will choose a person from the audience to play the role of the emperor and the show will end with pyrotechnic effects."

Marilyne Kern wrote the script and promises: "Whether you like the world of horses or not, the audience is bound to leave delighted. What they like about us is the way we revisit themes and history with a modern twist."

The second show will be performed on July 26 at 8:30 p.m. and July 27 at 4:00 p.m. under the aegis of Guillaume Mauvais, artist and draft horse breeder, from Maîche in Doubs. It will transport the audience into a contemporary legend where humor and poetry intertwine. Révélations is La Cantera's other house show, scheduled for August 23 at 8:30 p.m. and August 24 at 4:00 p.m. It will offer equestrian tableaux that follow one another as if through the eyepiece of a kaleidoscope.

The final installment of the season is a show featuring Luc Marschal, a professional film artist and stuntman, and his zany knights. On September 13 at 8:30 p.m. and September 14 at 4 p.m., they will engage in a knightly duel of lords, in a fantastical and burlesque scenario, during which the audience will defend the colors of their kingdom.
