Nuits de Fourvière: a new record edition with 176,000 spectators gathered in Lyon


For this 2025 edition, the Nuits de Fourvière broke its attendance record by bringing together 176,000 spectators around 122 artistic performances.
The Nuits de Fourvière festival draws to a close and sets a new attendance record. After nearly two months of festivities, the event concluded with great fanfare on Saturday, July 23.
This year again, the festival broke records by welcoming 176,000 spectators to 122 performances, representing an attendance rate of 92%. "We are delighted with the success of this 2025 edition, both for the record attendance achieved and for the diversity and quality of the artistic perspectives that punctuated it," the organization stated.
Theater, music, dance, circus, magic, and cabaret followed one another at the ancient theater of Lyon, but also on emblematic stages of the Lyon Metropolis such as the TNP, the SUBS, the Halle Tony Garnier and the Transbordeur throughout the festival.
While this 2025 edition did not fail to delight spectators, the organization has already announced that it will be holding the festival again in 2026: "We look forward to seeing you in the summer of 2026 to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Nuits de Fourvière.
