The Goliards, the Haricot Blanc company, the dancers of the Samarcande troupe, the Médiévales de Gueberschwihr will join in the fun for the 750th anniversary of the town .

Medieval reenactors will set up workshops in the streets, showcasing ancient trades such as sawyer, blacksmith, farrier, and more. Other activities will involve herbalists, fortune tellers, and the public, who will be able to participate in medieval games. Art'Thémis' creatures on stilts will wander through the village.

On Saturday evening, during the folk dance, a film retracing the history of the smallest fortified city in Alsace, with a reconstruction of the village in 1650, will be screened in the village hall. During Sunday mass, a temporary choir of 70 singers and the Entente musicale du Krebsbach will perform Jacob de Haan's Missa Brevis .

Some 50 volunteers will be mobilized during the two-day festival. Even more were involved in the preparations, sewing 1,000 pennants and six coats of arms, arranged on 700 meters of string, adorning the village. Twenty-five volunteer pastry chefs are also taking part in the celebrations, with hot and cold food provided.
