The Beausset media library pays tribute to the famous Var author Alain Cadéo, who passed away a year ago

On Tuesday, June 3 at 6:30 p.m., a few days before the anniversary of his death on June 12, 2024, on the initiative of his publishers and in conjunction with his wife Martine, the Beausset municipal media library will host a moving preview of Alain Cadéo , a famous Var author, and his latest work entitled Contes des petits mondes d'à côté, published by La Trace.

"This event will pay tribute to the memory of Alain, writer, poet and screenwriter, who conceived and produced this book in the form of stories for adults during the last months of his life..." , confides his wife Martine.

She adds: "While waiting for its release in bookstores from June 12, the anniversary of his death, the book will be presented in preview on Tuesday, June 3 at the media library."

In memory of Alain Cadéo, all those who knew, read, and loved him will be able to gather in friendship and conviviality over an aperitif. Martine Cadéo concludes: " This book will not be the last; his publishers will continue to publish the writings of this great writer, translated in China, known and appreciated in all French-speaking countries."
