This weekend, author Susie Morgenstern will be the guest of honor at the 13th Grimaud Children's Book Fair.

The 2025 edition of the Grimaud Children's Book Fair opens with the evocative theme of "Another World," a nod to the famous song by the band Téléphone. A promise of escape and imagination, for young and old, through a universe populated by stories, adventures, and dreams. This year's guest of honor, Susie Morgenstern, a renowned author with more than 150 books to her name, will present her latest album, "Susie at the School of Nature." A tender and initiatory tale, in which a curious little mouse discovers the wonders of the countryside during a field trip. "Welcoming Madame Morgenstern is a real dream; I've been working on it since the fair's creation," says Isabelle André, the library manager.
Meetings and signingsThroughout the year, under the leadership of Isabelle André and Gaëlle le Rebeller, the library's managers, the young people of the "Les Remp'Arts de Grimaud" association prepare the event by selecting authors and orchestrating the thematic program. This involvement extends far beyond the village: 48 classes from the Gulf of Saint-Tropez take part in the event. The students will award the readers' prizes, the poetry competition, and the drawing competition. Proof of their enthusiasm: 148 artistic creations and 112 poems were received for this 13th edition, testifying to a tremendous creative impulse around reading.
Among the highlights of the weekend, meetings and signings with the 14 guest authors and illustrators, including Yaël Hassan , emblematic figure of children's literature, Philippe Larbier , illustrator of the comic strip Les petits Mythos, Cassandre Lambert , author and adventurer of the TV game Koh Lanta 2024, Aurélie Chien Chow Chine creator of Gaston La Licorne, accompanied by her mascot, Émile Jadoul , father of the famous little penguin Léon and Hervé Le Goff, illustrator of the series Mamie poule raconte...
Between two beautiful stories, the audience will also be able to applaud a children's choir, a puppet show or a yoga workshop.
