Toulon "dressed like never before" for Gims' sold-out concert

By mid-afternoon this Saturday, hundreds of people were gathering in front of the gates of the Zenith stadium in Toulon.
The reason? After Michel Polnareff last week, the Le Son by Toulon festival this time welcomed Gims.
A sold-out concert, with 10,500 fans gathered on the forecourt of the Zénith, all generations combined. This is one of the rapper's strengths: he reaches out to young people (and, by extension, their parents, even their grandparents), teenagers, and young adults alike.
After an opening act by Nice's Lynh, the master arrived to the sound of "Sapé comme jamais," wearing a futuristic black helmet over his eyes and with a large display of flames on stage. Enough to intoxicate an already incandescent audience. He then promised a "journey through time" and performed "Bella" as well as songs by Sexion d'Assaut, his first band.
Gims didn't hesitate to interact with his audience between each hit. Having announced that this would be his last tour, he offered the people of Toulon some unforgettable memories. They'll be able to say, "I was there."
