ART AND CRAFTS

“After Party,” François Prost, Point Ephémère, in Paris, until August 29

He's not the king of the dance floor, and yet, for nearly ten years, François Prost scoured the nightclub scene. The photographer traveled all over France and immortalized more than 200 nightclub facades. The photos, taken in broad daylight, show these closed buildings without glitz or neon, lost between suburban areas and open countryside. Free admission.

“Man de Lutz”, at the Domaine de Palays, in Montesquieu-Volvestre, on August 30 and 31
The Domaine de Palays in Haute-Garonne. DOMAINE DE PALAYS

Emmanuelle de Fonds (co-founder of the French Design Incubator) and designer Clémentine Bricard are opening the Domaine de Palays to artistic creation, combining contemporary design and local Occitan crafts. For this first edition, the exhibition presents around fifteen works by young designers (Anaïs Borie, System_F, etc.) accompanied by six electro and instrumental concerts commissioned by Marie Desseauves (Les Siestes festival). Among the acquisitions and outdoor works, the Day Bed installation – the large four-poster bed by the Uchronia collective, transformed into a musical stage – will be exhibited in the forest.
