Insula, in the San Lorenzo Maggiore complex in Naples the presentation of the Biasucci exhibition

On Thursday 26 June 2025 at 11:00 , in the Fra Landolfo Caracciolo Library in the Monumental Complex of San Lorenzo Maggiore, the presentation of the Insula project by Antonio Biasiucci will be held, curated by Gianluca Riccio. In addition to the artist and the curator, the institutional partners of the project will be present.

The Insula project , curated by Gianluca Riccio and conceived by the association Il Rosaio – Contemporary Art and Culture, is supported by Strategia Fotografia 2024 , promoted by the General Directorate of Contemporary Creativity of the Ministry of Culture . It benefits from the collaboration of the Regional Directorate of Museums of Campania, the Certosa di San Giacomo di Capri as a project partner, and the participation of the Academy of Fine Arts of Naples and the Donnaregina Foundation for Contemporary Arts – Madre Museum Naples as cultural partners.

A selection of photographs from the Insula exhibition, which will open at the end of July in Capri and which offers a poetic and visionary reinterpretation of the Capri landscape by Antonio Biasiucci, will be exhibited in preview.

On this occasion, the video Insulario. L'alfabeto visiva di Antonio Biasiucci, created by Valeria Laureano in collaboration with the Film School of the Academy of Fine Arts of Naples , will be screened, which accompanies and documents the various planning phases of the work carried out by the photographer from Campania during his residency on the island of Capri.
