Ken Loach, 'graduate' director

The Department of Philosophy will present Ken Loach with an honorary degree today at 5 p.m.
Ken Loach will receive an honorary degree today at 5:00 PM, presented by the Department of Philosophy in conjunction with the Department of the Arts at the University of Bologna. This special event will bring London and Bologna together to celebrate and honor the human, artistic, and social contributions of the British director, born in 1936. The event will take place simultaneously in two locations: London, at King's College, where Rector Giovanni Molari, Vice-Rector for International Relations, Professor Raffaella Campaner, and the Delegate for Equity, Inclusion, and Diversity, Professor Cristina De Maria, will be present.
In Bologna, in the Aula Magna of the University Library (Bub), the ceremony will be attended by Pro-Rector Giorgio Bellettini, Director of the Department of Arts Riccardo Brizzi, Director of the Department of Philosophy Luca Guidetti, and Professor Alberto Burgio, philosopher and proposer of the award. Rector Molari will present the honorary degree to Ken Loach, who will then deliver a master's lecture. The academic and civic community will be able to follow the ceremony live on YouTube.
