Molinella, emotions, talent and inclusion enchant the audience of 'Dancing under the stars'

Molinella, emotions, talent and inclusion enchant the audience of 'Dancing under the stars'

Molinella (Bologna), July 6, 2025 - A crowded square, the clear sky above Molinella , and dance as the common thread between dream and reality, between beauty and athletic gesture, between possible and impossible. Saturday night, 'Dancing under the stars' transformed the heart of the Bolognese town into a large open-air stage, capable of welcoming thousands of spectators from everywhere.

It was truly a great success with the public who could admire great champions but it was not only the high-sounding names of international sports dance that attracted the public: it was the power of dance that conquered, capable of speaking a universal language, made of grace, courage and heart but also of inclusiveness. Molinella once again confirms itself as the capital of international dance thanks to two legends like Davide and Olga Cacciari , founders of the great Team Diablo , the largest sports dance association in the world and of the international Dance Sport Heritage Foundation .

The protagonists were the young people from the Crazy Dance, Easy Dance Team and La Mucca Dance dance schools , who with energy and passion brought engaging and detailed choreographies to the stage, transmitting the joy of dancing. Alongside them, great international champions gave moments of the highest technical and artistic level, drawing applause and standing ovations from the large audience present.

“We are honored to have been from Molinella for 38 years and happy to have brought the event back here. A great success, a great audience and it confirms once again that Molinella is a city of dance – said Davide Cacciari - In sports, if you work with young people, it is important not to be in a big city where there are many distractions and we feel that the public loves us and follows us, as demonstrated this time too. It was a great honor to have our best couples perform and demonstrate what sports dance is”. Thunderous applause and standing ovations accompanied the performances of stars such as Vladislav Untu and Polina Barishnikova (Moldova), Marco Chieregato and Giulia De Maio, Roberto Carano and Francesca Francini, Raffaello Brancato and Michel Magera, Stefano Mendolia and Oxana Koronova, Emanuele Massacci and Jenni Heikkila (Finland). And then, the grand finale, with multiple world champions Vincenzo Mariniello and Sara Casini in an overwhelming jive, Francesco Galuppo and Debora Pacini with a waltz of rare sweetness, and finally Gabriele Goffredo and Anna Matus, who literally set the square on fire with a powerful and elegant paso doble. Among the most touching moments of the evening, the performance of two young disabled dancers in wheelchairs , who demonstrated how dance can break down every barrier, speaking a universal language made of rhythm, grace and determination. Their dance moved and inspired everyone present, reminding us that inclusion is one of the highest forms of art.

“Disability dance is a new frontier – says Davide Cacciari – our Foundation sees disability as a new starting point because there are many kids involved and we think we can give them a new light, a new motivation and a way to have fun” . It’s beautiful to see them use their wheelchairs as an instrument of freedom and expression, a project by La Mucca Dance, which entered the school to break the limits and demonstrate that they do not exist. An evening that also involved the sympathy of the famous cabaret artist Duilio Pizzocchi together with the Magician Simon.
