The Foglio editorialist was selected by the jury of the award, together with 5 other journalists who stood out for their narrative quality, professional rigor and civil commitment
Siegmund Ginzberg has won the 65th edition of Il Premiolino , the oldest and most authoritative Italian award dedicated to information. In addition to the Foglio editorialist, the winners also included Paolo Giordano (Corriere della Sera), Anna Zafesova (La Stampa), Luigi Manconi (La Repubblica), Thomas Mackinson (Il Fatto Quotidiano) and Sabrina Giannini (Rai 3).
The award, founded in 1960 and supported by Pirelli since 2023, aims to enhance the most courageous and innovative voices in contemporary journalism, choosing six journalist-editorialists who have distinguished themselves for their narrative quality, professional rigor and civil commitment. The Premiolino jury has also decided to honor with a special mention the memory of Viktorija Roščyna, a Ukrainian journalist tortured and killed for her reporting. The award ceremony will be held in Milan, at the Piccolo Teatro Grassi on September 29, 2025.
