The Max Pezzali show in Imola: "An already historic concert."

Imola, July 14, 2025 – A long wait , as always happens for concerts at the racetrack, but it didn't dampen the enthusiasm for such a super event. The day after Max Pezzali 's show at the Enzo e Dino Ferrari (photo) , the city is questioning the success of the party (with 85,000 guests) at the former 883.

But the outcome, as mentioned, can only be positive. The counter-exodus after the concert brought back the critical issues of the past, largely unavoidable given the capacity of the city's roads.

Compared to Formula 1, when exits from the circuit are more staggered and still in broad daylight, the lines were longer. And the exodus of cars and buses lasted about three hours.

Things went better, in addition to those who left the racetrack before the end of the show, missing the last three or four songs, and those who chose the train .

The flow of spectators to the banks of the Santerno was also very slow, slower than usual.

Unlike at shows in recent years, there wasn't a fan mobilization from the early hours of the day. Even by mid-afternoon, the arrivals in the city were still quite sparse. And just before 8 p.m., with the concert scheduled to start an hour later, only 35,000 spectators had entered the Enzo e Dino Ferrari.

As for the show, many attendees on social media are reporting issues with the audio and the management of entrances and exits.

Even in this case, with a substantially identical format that has been repeated for years now, there's nothing new. Having exhausted the list of critical points, the concert's many positive aspects (not just musical) remain.

For the umpteenth time, Imola sends a very strong image to all of Italy.

Pezzali interpreted the essence of the circuit like few others, designing a show tailor-made for the Enzo and Dino Ferrari ("We could only do something like this here"), focusing entirely on the motorsport nature of the facility.

"I think this is everything I feel," the former 883 player wrote yesterday, posting a clip of the concert on social media. "Emotion, gratitude, and infinite love . 85,000 heartfelt thanks."

Neither the President of the Region, Michele de Pascale, has any doubts about the success of the event ("A declaration of love for the music that unites generations, for memories that come back, for a place that always speaks to the heart"), nor the mayor Marco Panieri , for whom this 'Max Forever – Grand Prix' "fully enters into the great concerts of the history of Imola and of our circuit".

Returning to the organizational management, the mayor had already spoken about it before Pezzali started the show.

"There's a lot of work behind the scenes, especially to manage public order ," Panieri recalled, meeting with journalists backstage. "We've involved law enforcement and civil defense. The peculiarity is that 30-35% of the audience chose to come by train. Special convoys were set up, each capable of carrying 1,500 people. We've done a great job; concerts are very important to us."

On Sunday, 70,000 people will flock to the Enzo e Dino Ferrari for AC/DC 's grand return. "The numbers we presented at the beginning of the year, when we presented the Autodromo's events calendar to the Farnesina, are being confirmed: one million attendees in 2025 for a total of over €600 million in related activities," Panieri assures. "These are very significant figures for us."
