Ué tosann e bagaj, ghe semm! It was the big day of the debut of “The Mary Shelley Picture Show” (the cast in the photo by Laila Pozzo) on the prestigious stage of the Sala Shakespeare del Teater Elfo Puccini. Thursday 12th and Friday 13th, at 7.30pm, the colossal theatrical-musical will be staged which is on an event where I can't miss: 80 actors of different ages, qualified, coming from the suburbs to bring the famous story of Frankenstein in a new and strange way. The test is that of Francesca Sangalli, the director of Marta who, inspired by Chiara Barlassina, also designed all the staging and costumes. Propi lee is Mary Shelley with the Wolf on the page of her husband, the poet Percy. The songs form the basis of the entire opera, arranged by the fabulous inclusive orchestra Esagramma. I have always appreciated the sounds created by the electronic genius Michele Tadini. The scene is embellished with the sculptures of Roger Ranko which with its brutalism is perfect for this monstrous story. I love the creation of the refined Alessandro Barbieri who found the right balance to have 80 people on stage: the Ipatia Chorus, the Collettivo Clown captain of Luca D'Addino, the wonderful Rajae Bezzaz who is Doctor Frankenstein's star. In the video there are also Cristina Crippa and Elio De Capitani who play the parents of Mary and the tightrope walker Loris Fabiani as Scior Byron, the delicate Ginestra Paladino as Claire and the Sassi Acerbi as Polidori. In short, we wait for you at the Elfo!
