'Marvel Zombies': When is it coming to Disney+?

Marvel Studios Animation has confirmed the premiere of Marvel Zombies , an animated series that promises to immerse viewers in a dark and terrifying universe, just in time for the Halloween season.

Based on the comic book of the same name created by Robert Kirkman and Sean Phillips, as well as the episode What If... Zombies?! from the series What If...? (2021), this new production will continue to explore an alternate reality of the Marvel Cinematic Universe , where a quantum virus transforms heroes and villains into zombified versions of themselves.

The story picks up the conflict between survivors like Spider-Man, Black Panther and Wasp, against former allies now turned enemies: Captain America, Captain Marvel, Ghost, Hawkeye, Abomination, Ikaris and Okoye are part of the threat.

Release date

According to official information from Disney and Marvel Studios, Marvel Zombies will premiere on September 24, 2025, via Disney+ . Although it was initially scheduled for October 3, the release was moved up a week to coincide with the start of the Halloween season.

The series will consist of four episodes, which will be released weekly until October 15, 2025 .

With this new project, Marvel seeks to offer a different and darker proposal within its animated universe , ideal for lovers of horror, action and superheroes.
