'The Illusionists 3' reveals first official trailer and release date

After 12 years since its first theatrical release, the popular magic and action saga "Now You See Me: Now You Don't", titled in Spanish "The Illusionists" will return to the big screen with a third installment in 2025.
Read: Top 10 Most-Watched Movies of the Week on Netflix MexicoThis Tuesday, the entertainment company in charge of the film, Lionsgate , published the first official trailer for the third film in the franchise, which shows the new additions to the cast, as well as the return of the iconic characters that made up the previous installments.
Among the familiar faces, the leader of the riders Jesse Eisenberg returns as Daniel "Danny" Atlas, followed by Dave Franco as Jack Wilder, Woody Harrelson as Merritt McKinney, and even the acclaimed Morgan Freeman is returning as Thaddeus Bradley.
And while it's unclear what role they'll play in the plot, Justice Smith, Dominic Sessa, and Ariana Greenblatt are some of the actors joining the cast.
The release date for "The Illusionists 3" is scheduled for November 14, 2025, in the United States , so its release in Mexico could be closer to that date.
As shown in the trailer, the story will follow the riders on a new, much more risky and ambitious adventure. Now, the group of eight wizards will face a global criminal network led by a prestigious family known for selling diamonds to traffickers and dangerous, highly influential figures.

Lionsgate also teased the arrival of a fourth film, which is already in production.
