Last night, Blake Lively wore two different pastel looks to promote her new film, Another Simple Favor.
For the movie’s New York City premiere, the actress stepped out in a mint gown by Tamara Ralph. The floor-length design, from Ralph’s spring 2025 couture collection, featured a structured, open-weave bodice with sheer panels and a flowing chiffon skirt. Lively paired the dress with ornate earrings and pink bracelets by Lorraine Schwartz. She completed the look with Christian Louboutin heels.
Her husband, Ryan Reynolds, accompanied her in a gray suit styled with a baby-blue pocket square that complemented her gown.
Later in the evening, Lively changed into a vibrant butter-yellow outfit for the after-party. The ensemble featured a short-sleeve sweater tucked into a long silky skirt in a deeper yellow hue. She accessorized with a matching belt, glittering lemon-themed earrings, sparkling heels, and a playful handbag shaped like a martini glass complete with a lemon wedge embellishment.
Another Simple Favor’s New York City premiere comes ahead of the movie’s May 1 release on Prime Video. The project is a sequel to the 2018 comedic thriller A Simple Favor and reunites Lively with director Paul Feig and co-star Anna Kendrick.
The movie had its world premiere at the SXSW Film & TV Festival. Lively wore a memorable look there: a vintage-inspired pale-pink latex ensemble by Renée Massoomian.
In a panel discussion at SXSW, Lively spoke about reprising her role as Emily Nelson, calling her “probably my favorite character I’ve ever been fortunate enough to play.”
