It's just work: Ana de Armas talks about her relationship with Tom Cruise

Although they've shared dinners in London, helicopter rides, and even celebrated celebrity birthdays, actress Ana de Armas maintains that her relationship with Tom Cruise doesn't go beyond professionalism. In a recent interview with Good Morning America, the Oscar nominee dismissed romance rumors and explained that the two are working together on several projects alongside producer Doug Liman and screenwriter Christopher McQuarrie.

“It’s a lot of fun. We’re definitely working on a lot of things with Doug, Christopher, and, of course, Tom,” Armas said, declining to elaborate on the productions he’s working on. Liman and McQuarrie are frequent Cruise collaborators on hits like “American Made” and “Mission: Impossible.”

Rumors of a relationship began in February, when They were both photographed having dinner in London days before Valentine's Day. They were later seen together on a helicopter ride, piloted by Cruise himself, and most recently at David Beckham's 50th birthday celebrations. Although they arrived separately at the Core by Clare Smyth restaurant in Notting Hill, they left together in the early hours of the morning, climbing into the back of the same vehicle.

According to Us Weekly, Cruise is reportedly romantically interested in the Cuban actress and is "courting" her, but sources close to him say Ana is "taking it slow" and isn't looking to rush into any romantic relationship.

De Armas's last known romantic interest was Manuel Anido Cuesta, stepson of Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel, with whom she was last seen in March. As for Cruise, he was linked last year to Russian socialite Elsina Khayrova, daughter of a Russian politician.

Meanwhile, Ana de Armas remains focused on her career and excited about upcoming projects, unbothered by the rumors surrounding her personal life.
