Nintendo and Lego launch Game Boy collectible

Nintendo and Lego have joined forces to create a collectible set of the Game Boy , the iconic handheld console from the 90s. This almost life-size model will be made up of 421 pieces and is part of the Lego Icons line, focused on adult fans of retro design, classic video games and collecting.
The replica measures 14 cm tall, 9 cm wide, and 3 cm deep . It will include authentic details such as the A, B, Start, and Select buttons, a D-pad, volume and contrast knobs, a functional cartridge slot, and a rear battery compartment. Plus, the pieces will be printed, with no decals, reinforcing their quality and value as a collectible.
The set will include two interchangeable cartridges: Super Mario Land and The Legend of Zelda : Link's Awakening , as well as lenticular screens showing scenes characteristic of these titles, including the Game Boy start screen with the Nintendo logo.
Pre-orders began on July 24th on the official Lego website and through authorized retailers. The official launch will be on October 1, 2025. The price will be $59.99 or 1,499 Mexican pesos.
