Shakira confirms Alejandro Sanz as a guest at the start of her U.S. tour.

Shakira will start her tour in United States and Canada on May 13 in Charlotte, North Carolina, And she'll be accompanied by a very special guest: Alejandro Sanz. The Colombian singer confirmed the news this Friday through an Instagram story, where she revealed that they will perform together the iconic song "La Tortura," released in 2005.

"I'll have several of my friends and colleagues accompanying me. Guess who'll be wishing me luck at my first concert in Charlotte: Alejandro Sanz," the artist said. She then added that those who want to see them perform live should attend this first concert, and thanked the Spanish musician for his presence.

For his part, Sanz responded enthusiastically: “You have no idea how much I want to get up on stage with you and enjoy it, so see you in Charlotte. Plus, this is your first show on the US tour. What more could I ask for?”

The "Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour" includes 23 dates in the United States and Canada between May and June, will tour cities such as Miami, New York, Houston, and San Francisco, and will continue in Latin America beginning in August, with performances in several cities in Mexico and two already confirmed dates in Lima, Peru, for November.
