Poland will soon boast one of the most modern music campuses in Europe. The Feliks Nowowiejski Academy of Music in Bydgoszcz is opening a new facility, designed by the Warsaw-based studio Plus 3 Architekci, that includes four concert halls.
Students and staff of the Feliks Nowowiejski Academy of Music will soon be able to use one of the most modern music campuses in Europe.
The campus was designed by the Warsaw-based studio Plus 3 Architekci , and Unibep handled the concept. According to the contractors, the facility is energy-efficient and environmentally friendly . ewkAkustika was responsible for the acoustics, which are crucial for a facility of this type.

The building will become the focal point of the so-called Music District , a three-hectare area that also offers access to a park and a pond.
The new campus of the Medical University of Bydgoszcz: "An event that gives us goosebumps"The building itself has eight floors and will house four concert halls designed using the "box-in-a-box" technology: symphony , chamber , opera and organ .
The facility also houses an orchestra rehearsal space , a student residence , relaxation areas , and a restaurant open to residents. There is also an outdoor stage .

"The opening of the new campus is an event that gives us goosebumps. The creative power of this investment is extraordinary, and it will now have a constant impact in space and time. A unique place for learning, creating, and relaxing has been created on a European scale," assures Dr. Mariusz Klimsiak, Vice-Rector for Artistic Affairs, International Relations, and Promotion .
Importantly, the new campus is to become not only an excellent space for students , but also a place where Bydgoszcz residents will be able to encounter music.

The Academy is also launching the New Sound of the City project, which aims to offer Bydgoszcz residents and tourists a diverse range of artistic events.
"Bydgoszcz is a dynamically developing city where culture is the driving force behind change. The city's cultural potential continues to grow, and music builds its brand, serving both artists and residents. The mission of the region's only Academy of Music is to promote musical heritage," writes Rector Prof. Elżbieta Wtorkowska .

Vice-Rector for Research, Teaching and Students, Dr. Szymon Godziemba-Trytek, adds that the new Academy campus is a place where architecture meets sound, and art meets the everyday lives of residents.
