This year, the Manuel Possolo Hippodrome and Marechal Carmona Park will once again host the festival grounds, which open at 7pm and have a food court and bars.
Each of the CoolJazz nights, organized by the promoter Live Experiences, includes four performances, divided across three stages.
The festival's main stage will be hosting Benjamin Clementine and Rita Vian today. On the second night, July 12th, Seal and Margarida Campelo will perform on this stage; on July 15th, Ezra Collective and Jordan Rakei; on July 17th, Gilsons and Jota.Pê; on July 23rd, Slow J and Silly; on July 26th, Tindersticks and Ganso; and on July 31st, Masego and Amaura.
Seven Portuguese jazz projects will perform on the Cascais Jazz Sessions stage: Plasticine (today), Beatriz Nunes (July 12), BERLIM (July 15), Isabel Rato Quinteto (July 17), BOKOR (July 23), Quarteto de Areia (July 26) and Razy (July 31).
Late Nights will be hosted by Mafalda Nunes (today), Groove Armanda (July 12), Luís Oliveira (July 15), Rita Lig (July 17), Allexia (July 23), Rui Maia (July 26) and Peter Castro (July 31).
Each of the seven nights of the festival begins with the Cascais Jazz Sessions, continues with a first part and the headliner and ends with the Late Nights.
The Ageas CoolJazz festival also has a free program, Cascais Lazy Sundays, which takes place on Sundays and this year changes location, swapping the gardens of Casa das Histórias Paula Rego for Jardim da Parada, in front of the venue.
'Playing music' at Cascais Lazy Sundays will be Ana Moreira (on Sunday), Catarina Moreira & Amigos (July 13), Leonor Caldeira & Manuel Cardoso (July 20) and Diogo Beja (July 27).
