Iron Maiden to perform in Lisbon in July 2026

Iron Maiden to perform in Lisbon in July 2026

British band Iron Maiden will perform at Estádio da Luz in Lisbon on July 7th next year. The concert will be part of their "Run For Your Lives" tour, which also played at Meo Arena a year ago. The promoter announced Thursday that the band is "loving" the tour.

"The fans have been incredible, the lineup is perfect for the 50th anniversary, the show is probably our best ever, and the demand for tickets has been extraordinary, with virtually everything sold out and over a million fans in attendance," said bassist Steve Harris.

"So we thought we should do a few more shows in Europe before heading to other parts of the world," the musician added, quoted in a statement.

In the same press release, the British band's manager, Rod Smallwood, expressed satisfaction that "the vast majority of fans" had respected the request "to severely limit the use of cell phones at concerts, ideally keeping them in their pockets throughout the performance, especially in the standing areas in front of the stage."

“Unfortunately there were exceptions, but overall, the understanding and cooperation of the fans made a colossal difference to the atmosphere of each concert, greatly increasing the enjoyment of the band and the audience,” he added.

Tickets — priced between 65 and 90 euros, according to the SL Benfica website — will be available for pre-sale at FNAC stores for 24 hours on September 23, with general sales starting on the 27th.
