Among the leading actors at the 82nd edition of the festival, prestigious recognition went to Toni Servillo for his performance in "La Grazia" and Valeria Bruni Tedeschi for Pietro Marcello's "Duse." Actress Anna Ferzetti received a "special" Pasinetti Award for her excellent performance alongside Servillo in Sorrentino's film.

The traditional honor granted by the press in Venice covers all Italian films presented in various sections of the festival.

In a statement, Sngci praised the "quality of a rich selection of works that confirm the liveliness and variety of the offerings proposed in this edition of the Venice Film Festival, directed by Alberto Barbera, which provided visibility to Italian cinema and deserves the public's attention in movie theaters."
