Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy denounced on social media this Tuesday new Russian bombings against civilian infrastructure, including transport, energy and health facilities, in the regions of Kharkiv, Kirovograd, Sumy and Donetsk.

“Every day, every night, Russia attacks our electricity [generation] stations, distribution lines, and gas infrastructure,” he wrote, insisting that Ukraine needs more missile systems from allies , such as Patriot, NASAMS, and SAMP/T, to defend against enemy projectiles.

In the northwest, in Kharkiv, the Russian offensive damaged a clinic and an electrical substation, injuring 57 people. In the center, in Kirovograd, a railway line was damaged, while further north, in Sumy, factories were also hit.

The Ukrainian Air Force reported that Russia launched a total of 96 drones (remotely piloted aircraft) against its territory overnight on Monday, 69 of which were neutralized by Ukrainian defense systems. Another 27 drones were not intercepted, and impacts were recorded in seven different, unspecified locations.
