Almost 160 non-residential premises have been created in buildings under renovation since the beginning of 2025

Moscow Government Minister, Head of the Department of Urban Development Policy, which is part of the Moscow City Complex of Urban Development Policy and Construction, Vladislav Ovchinsky reported that since January 2025, the city has already transferred 159 non-residential premises on the first floors of new buildings as part of the renovation program.

The renovation program provides for the creation of a comfortable urban environment, including through non-residential ground floors in new buildings. These premises are intended to accommodate social infrastructure facilities: pharmacies, medical centers, children's development institutions and other services needed by residents.

"Since the beginning of 2025, the city has sold 159 premises with a total area of over 16,000 square meters on the first non-residential floors of new buildings in nine districts of the capital. Including 49 in the Eastern Administrative District and over 33 in the South-Eastern Administrative District," the press service of the Department of Urban Development Policy quotes Ovchinsky as saying.

An additional 37 premises are distributed between the South-West (23) and West (14) districts. The press service of the Department of Urban Development Policy noted that the renovation program includes the creation of about 8 thousand commercial premises, which will create over 200 thousand new jobs in various fields.
