The exhibition, held in the Assyrian Trade Colonies Period Hall of the Kayseri Archaeology Museum, features 102 artifacts, including cuneiform clay tablets, jewelry, rings, portraits carved on small agate stones with craftsmanship, and seals related to commercial objects, reflecting the city's 6,000-year-old trade accumulation, spanning the Assyrian Trade Colonies Period and the Late Ottoman Period to the Early Republican Period.

Kayseri Museum Director Gökhan Yıldız told an AA correspondent that the "Trade in Kayseri from Past to Present" exhibition aims to convey to visitors concisely how the city's commercial heritage emerged as a result of 6,000 years of experience.

Yıldız stated that the works, consisting of special objects, were introduced to visitors for the first time.

Emphasizing their excitement about the Culture Road Festival, Yıldız said, "We tried to select the works from special objects. We planned to present our exhibition to visitors as a commemoration of the first-ever Culture Road Festival, and as a tribute to the 102nd anniversary of our Republic, by featuring objects that will be exhibited for the first time."

"All of them were selected from works belonging to the civilizations in Kayseri."

Yıldız stated that the exhibition can be visited free of charge between September 6-14.

Yıldız stated that the exhibition reflects the commercial memory of the city and noted:

All of the works selected for this exhibition are from Kayseri. These are works unearthed at the Kültepe Archaeological Site, excavated since 1949 by our late Prof. Dr. Tahsin Özgüç and currently by Prof. Dr. Fikri Kulakoğlu. These works were also found by our citizens and brought to us legally and responsibly, which we acquired through these works. Some were transferred to our museum through court proceedings, but all were selected from works belonging to the civilizations in Kayseri.

In addition to 102 historical artifacts on display for the first time, 56 other artifacts are also on display in the museum, awaiting visitors.
