Singer Şimal, who had been battling cancer for a long time, passed away .

The famous singer, who survived breast cancer in 2022 but underwent surgery for a brain tumor in January, announced that her disease had recurred in recent months.

Şimal's husband, Necati Arıcı, said in a statement yesterday evening that the artist's condition was critical. Today, he announced on social media that Şimal had passed away.

Sharing on social media, Arıcı said, "My wife Şimal Gülen has passed away. Her body will be buried in Kuşadası. Information about the location will be provided for forgiveness."
