The winners of the Golden Orange Film Festival's honorary and achievement awards have been announced.

According to a statement from the festival's press office, preparations are underway for the festival, which will be held from October 24 to November 2 this year.

This year, Serap Aksoy and Settar Tanrıöğen will receive the honorary award at the International Antalya Golden Orange Film Festival.

Aksoy, who was deemed worthy of the honorary award, continued her education at the Munich Music Academy after graduating from the Ballet Department of the Istanbul State Conservatory.

Aksoy, who began his artistic career at the State Opera and Ballet, has created unforgettable works in his nearly 40-year career in the worlds of theatre, cinema and television.

Another name to receive an honorary award is Tanrıöğen, who started his acting career on the theater stage and made his cinema debut in 1996 with the film "Eşkıya" directed by Yavuz Turgul.

This year, festival achievement awards will be presented to Merve Dizdar and Selahattin Paşalı for their successful acting performances.

On the other hand, Feride Çiçekoğlu will receive the "Cinema Labor Award" and Cansu Baydar will receive the "Young Filmmaker Achievement Award."

The awards will be presented to the winners at the opening ceremony on October 25.
