A Guide to All the Cameos in <i>Only Murders in the Building</i> Season 5

Coluca takes center stage as Lester, the Arconia’s former longtime doorman. His murder on the property is sets in motion the events of season 5.

The Madame Secretary star entered in the season 4 finale as a new character named Sofia Caccimelio. She offers to hire the Only Murders gang to investigate the death of her husband and do what the police couldn’t: solve the case. She comes back in season 5.

Cannavale (The Irishman, Nine Perfect Strangers) plays Nicky Caccimelio, Sofia’s mobster husband who is found dead at a dry cleaner.

The former Key & Peele star makes a brief appearance as Mayor Tillman of New York City. He attends Lester’s funeral, and tries to turn his eulogy into a campaign speech.

With previous appearances in Bullets Over Broadway, The Birdcage, and Edward Scissorhands, veteran Dianne Wiest plays Lorraine Coluca, Lester’s widow.

Feldstein, of Booksmart and Lady Bird, enters as Thea (or just “The”), one of Mabel’s former friends.

Fowler, who previously starred in Sorry to Bother You and The Blackening, is an OMITB newcomer who plays Lester’s doorman apprentice and successor.

The Bridget Jones, Chicago, and Judy stars as Camila White, a billionaire entrepreneur.

You know him from films like Inglorious Basterds and Django Unchained. In OMITB, Waltz plays tech genius Sebastian “Bash” Steed.

Known for The Perks of Being a Wallflower, the Percy Jackson film franchise, and recent indie hit, Oh, Hi!, Lerman plays Jay Pflug, the heir to a pharmaceutical fortune.

Just because Sazz is gone, doesn’t mean Jane Lynch is too. She reprises her role as Sazz in Charles’s subconscious while he investigated her death in season 4. She also appears in a season 5 flashback episode.

After playing Teddy Dimas in the first couple seasons on OMITB, Lane (The Birdcage, The Producers) returns for a cameo appearance in a flashback.

The renowned character actor appears as “Stink-Eye Joe,” a suspicious resident of the Acronia’s west tower. His real name is Vince Fish, and his “stink eye” is really a bad case of “pink eye.” He first entered the show in season 4.

According to Hulu, Streep will be back in season 5 as Loretta Durkin, Oliver’s wife and now a breakout TV star. The Sophie’s Choice, Mamma Mia!, and The Devil Wears Prada star first joined in season 3 as the star of Oliver’s musical and mother of Dickie, Ben Glenroy’s adopted brother.

Detective Donna Williams is probably so over the OMITB crew, but she’ll encounter them again in season 5, according to Hulu’s list of guest stars. Randolph has also appeared in The Holdovers and Dolemite Is My Name.
